We are seeking a motivated Admissions Coordinator to manage the Admissions process, and marketing and sales functions for the Home. The goal of the Admissions Coordinator is to maintain a full bed census in accordance with MVH policies and all applicable regulations.

Principal Duties:

  • Establish relationships in the community to facilitate admissions and actively pursue admissions through all possible channels.
  • Receive and appropriately respond to inquiry calls in a timely fashion and conduct facility tours.
  • Evaluate referrals for admission, determining clinical and veteran status eligibility and screening of potential residents off-site including at home, acute care facilities, and other locations.
  • Maintains facility wait list according to regulatory requirements and MVH standards. Manages active wait list clients monthly.
  • Documents in CRM all sales and lead activity and management of waitlist, sales, and marketing activities.

Twelve households border a community center with a bistro, bank, theater, children’s center, Veteran’s Club, barbershop, therapeutic gym, aquatic therapy pool, and more.

Experience and Skills:

  • Experience or training in such areas as health care facility admissions, geriatrics, rehabilitation, education and psychiatric nursing desirable; however, relevant marketing and customer service experience will also be considered.
  • Current unencumbered RN license to practice in the State of Maine preferred.
