Job Description
Nyobolt is seeking a resourceful and hands-on Associate Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering support team. Your creativity and systematic approach to equipment design and maintenance will enable you to implement solutions designed to streamline operational throughput with minimal downtime. This role will support current and future process equipment capability for the entire facility. Regular interdepartmental interactions are required to ensure that all battery manufacturing functions are running optimally and that future requirements can be met.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design and build/modify different tools/fixtures to support various equipment functions in a battery lab environment.
- Develop engineering drawings, technical guidelines and documentation, as required.
- Plan and perform verification & validation testing on prototype and production equipment.
- Work with Senior Engineer and Technicians to troubleshoot and support production.
- Adapt to constantly changing priorities and project scopes.
Desired Education and Skills:
- BS in Mechanical, Process, or Industrial engineering background preferred.
- Proficient with 3D CAD tools (ex: Solidworks, PTC Creo).
- Ability to comprehend and analyze complex problems.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Enjoys hands-on lab work such as machining and lab equipment setups.
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction, and also as part of a team.
