About us

Sweet Crimes is an exclusively gluten free bakery that makes the best bread and pastries! Customers come from all over the region to buy our delicious food. We make everything on-site and the cafe is warm and inviting.

Sweet Crimes Bakery is seeking a barista who will also manage delivery orders that come through the website and storefront customers. Lunch options will include soups, sandwiches, and pizza, which the barista/cashier will prepare. We have a beautiful pastry display case and the job will also require packaging up these items for customers. The job may require assistance from time to time with farmers markets if the market staff are unable to make their shift.

The bakery is open Tuesday-Sunday and shifts are currently broken down into 6 hour periods (subject to change). We are in need of weekday and weekend support (farmers markets are on Saturday mornings). Tips average $5/hour, so take-home pay averages around $19/hour.

Experience with making coffee and tea drinks is required. Food prep experience would be a benefit. We are looking for up-beat people who work well with others (we're a fun team!).

COVID-19 considerations:
Masks are optional at this point. Most employees still wear masks, although those with asthma prefer not to wear them. We make decisions as a team and adopt whatever decision the group chooses.
