The Business Development Manager independently leads certain areas of work on behalf of the Atlantic Shores Commercial Director – and by doing so supports in guiding the JV through the wider Business development landscape. This includes: Efforts to localize the Offshore Wind supply chain into East Coast USA, Commercial analyses for current projects or future bids, Competitive Intelligence on localization of supply chains, developing potential strategic partnerships in such areas as interconnection, ports, labor and commercial and industrial offtake, and various Strategic topics in the JV’s commercial domain. After winning a successful bid (with multiple bids coming up in 2020) the Business Development Manager will be responsible to work with the Technical and Procurement teams to deliver the supply chain localization investments and formalize a subset of the potential strategic partnerships in order for the Atlantic Shores business case to take Financial close / FID on any won projects. This is especially important as part of the 2020 bids could involve firm local content commitments to States.

Pay Range: $112,500 to $187,500 annually
Physical Requirements:
Ability to travel every month to an Atlantic Shores or parent office for 3-5 days at a time.[1]
Working Conditions:
Significant time to be spend in Atlantic Shores office in Brooklyn, New York – with regular visits to the Atlantic Shores offices in Massachusetts and New Jersey. Significant time will be spent outside of the office visiting potential partners, contractors and partners. Some visits to parent organizations’ sites will be required. The Supply Chain Lead & Business Developer will also be attending various (wind) conferences and meetings. During project construction, presence on site may be required.
