We are seeking a skilled Marketing Copywriter to join our team. The position requires a strategic leader who can understand the goals and objectives of both the brand and specific projects, and provide creative solutions to achieve them. The Marketing Copywriter will work closely with our marketing and sales teams to develop messaging that resonates with our target audience and drives results.

What You’ll Do:

  • Write a variety of marketing pieces including ads, emails, blogs, case studies, white papers, etc.
  • Develop marketing personas based on information obtained in discovery meetings.
  • Craft the right story, plan presentations and confidently present your work to relevant internal and external stakeholders along with the rest of your team.
  • Assist in the creation, editing and quality control (QC) of marketing playbooks and other content before the presentation to stakeholders, and then incorporate any feedback to finalize the document.
  • Co-lead playbook presentations with marketing the team lead and ensure the outlined strategies meet the specific goals of the brand and stakeholders.
  • Actively participate in the continued evolution of strategies, and update marketing materials as required.
  • Work collaboratively in both an in-person and virtual team environment with marketing directors, creative directors, other designers, copywriters, web developers, and the marketing team to create inspired solutions.
  • Work with the marketing team to create content for client social media, emails, ad decks and landing pages on an ongoing basis.
  • Create, design, and edit interactive documents and presentations, including HubSpot emails.
  • Copy edit, fact-check and use critical thinking to review all marketing materials before delivery. Proofread and recommend changes to internal copy.
  • Continuously enhance writing and marketing skills, maintain a knowledge of industry trends, and remain current with emerging innovations and technological advancements within the marketing industry.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Creative Writing, English, Public Relations or a related subject.
  • 2 – 5+ years of work experience either in an agency or corporate environment.
  • Experience in all major social media platforms
  • Familiarity with HubSpot and other email marketing tools.
  • Experience in Google word processing tools such as Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Slides.
  • Strong writing skills, preferably journalism, PR, or marketing copywriting experience.
  • Extensive and applicable knowledge of AP Style.
  • Comprehensive, correct knowledge of the basics of English grammar.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and teamworking skills.
  • Excellent work ethic and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
  • Proactive use of logic and creativity to solve problems and resolve issues with minimal supervision.
  • Innovative mindset with an aptitude to research, learn and use the latest digital software and platforms.
  • Ability to suggest creating or refining internal processes and procedures.

Other Job Details:

Must have an online portfolio or be willing to send four writing samples, of various types. Options include blogs, marketing emails, marketing campaign materials, longform content, press releases, etc.

This role can be based out of our Dallas office, as we value in-person collaboration and have a hybrid workplace (remote-only roles not offered)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
