Job Details
Bedard Pharmacy & Medical Supplies in Auburn is hiring a part-time Delivery Driver. The schedule will include hours Wednesday thru Friday, 6:00 p.m. until the deliveries are completed, approximately 4 to 8 hours after the start of the shift. Further scheduling details can be discussed prior to or during a telephone interview.
Job Summary
The Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe and timely delivery and pick up of medical supplies and pharmaceuticals to Bedard patients and commercial accounts (such as group homes, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities) throughout Maine/within the state of Maine.
Qualifications
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· Current valid Driver's License
· Clean driving record
· Clean background check
· Good technology skills
· Good customer service skills
· Strong communication skills with capacity to make independent decisions
· Neat personal appearance with pleasing manner and interpersonal skills
· Command of written and verbal English
· Previous delivery experience preferred
Physical Requirements
· Ability to enter and exit cab of vehicle up to fifty or more times per shift
· Exposure to various weather conditions
· Frequent/continuous reaching, grasping, lifting, and carrying up to 20 lbs. below waist level and at or above shoulder level
· Repetitive walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching
