The Career Engagement Coordinator will support and assist with delivery of career programs and events for undergraduate students in the Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business. Help facilitate connections among students, employers, and alumni. Perform other duties as assigned.
30% - Essential - Career and Professional Development
Engage with undergraduate business students, faculty, staff, alumni and employers to support and develop students to be effective leaders, successful graduates, and globally competitive professionals. Provide resources and support for undergraduate students and employers seeking internship and career connections.
30% - Essential - Event Coordination
Help to implement professional development programs and events to address soft skills and career readiness competencies. Oversee planning and logistics for career events, such as networking receptions, professional development programs, orientations, and industry trips. Manage employer engagements spaces, including interview rooms, recruiter lounge, and conference room.
25% - Essential - Administrative Support
Serve as first point of contact for internal and external constituencies. Ensure a welcoming professional environment for students and employers. Manage CRM software to facilitate student-employer connections. Serve as resource for employers and facilitate implementation of on-campus recruiting events. Recruit, hire, train, and supervise student staff. Assist in daily office needs.
10% - Essential - Communication and Marketing
Manage publication of a weekly newsletter, utilization of social media, and production and distribution of marketing materials. Supervise marketing intern(s).
5% - Non-Essential - Other duties as assigned.
Education - 1st Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent years of experience)
