Core responsibilities
Accounts Payable - bill entry by cost code and by job; payments to suppliers and vendors.
Accounts Receivable – create and send invoices customers. Process record customer payments
Credit Card Accounts - daily transaction entry; month end reconciliations
Financial reporting as requested
Payroll - manage time tracking and support employees; process weekly payroll using QBO payroll software.
Manage business licenses
Scanning and digital filing
Tax processing/payments/reporting - month end state and city reporting
Additional duties that may be assigned by management as part of the day-to-day operations of the company
Qualifications
Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade. Training in bookkeeping or accounting or related field a plus.
Experience with QuickBooks Desktop or QuickBooks Online is desirable
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs - Word, Excel, Outlook
Typing and 10 key by touch
Innovative and problem solving. Able to prioritize workload and communicate clearly.
