Your Role
Be responsible for the architecture of functional areas of the technology stack (i.e. API layer, metrics and logging, infrastructure, etc).
Collaborate with product stakeholders and engineers to design, implement, document, and maintain full-stack applications and features for existing applications.
Collaborate with machine learning engineers to deploy, monitor, and maintain machine learning models.
Who We Are Looking For
Comfortable in a fast paced collaborative environment.
Experience using Git for version control.
Experience with frontend development workflows, languages (i.e. JavaScript, TypeScript), and tooling (i.e. web browser developer tools).
Experience with backend development workflows, languages (i.e. Python, Go, Rust), and tooling (i.e. debuggers, profilers).
Experience working with relational databases (i.e. PostgreSQL, MySQL) and related tooling (i.e. database migrations, database backups). Practical knowledge of relational database concepts (i.e. transactions, indexes, locks) and use cases (i.e. OLTP).
Experience with Linux-based systems (i.e. Ubuntu, CentOS, Alpine, Arch) and tooling (i.e. ssh, package managers).
Experience working with containers and container orchestration systems (Docker, Docker Compose, etc).
Nice to Haves
Advanced knowledge of Python 3 development, best practices, and tooling.
Experience working with infrastructure as code tooling (i.e Ansible, CloudFormation, Terraform, Pulumi).
Experience working with multiple cloud providers (i.e. GCP, AWS, Azure, ).
