Job Description

It is the responsibility of the landscaping personnel to ensure that the grounds and facility are in great working order for clients and for events. We are looking for someone who is respectful, kind, hardworking, and willing to ask questions if they don't know something.

Will assist and work alongside maintenance personnel to ensure that the grounds and facility are beautiful and in great working order for the events.

Some weekend work may be required.

Assist maintenance personnel with larger projects when needed.


Job Responsibilities:

Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Completing any written work orders or verbal instructions from the supervisor.
  • Following the Event Day Checklists to ensure all things are ready and in place for the next event.
  • Moving chairs and tables as needed and especially for any last-minute setup needs.
  • Replacing any burned-out lights inside and outside of the building
  • Emptying trash cans and consolidating trash as needed for weekly pickup.
  • Maintaining clean appearance of windows.
  • Cleaning of trash debris located in parking lot and other outdoor areas.
  • Maintaining electrical systems, including replacing any worn or defective parts such as switches and fuses.
  • Making any necessary repairs to the indoor and outdoor structures of the buildings.
  • Cleaning and maintaining water features. This includes keeping the flow of water moving and free of trash and algae.
  • Ensuring that the irrigation system is in proper working order.
  • Repair fences, gates, walls, and walks as needed.
  • Overseeing any work done by a third-party contractor.
  • Mowing and edging the lawns with sufficient time prior to an event.
  • Trimming trees as needed.
  • Pruning flowers to keep the flower beds beautiful.
  • Mulching the flower beds and tree rings as needed.
  • Assist with painting and maintaining fences as needed.
  • Weeding the grass and flower beds.
  • Fertilizing on a given frequency and as needed.
  • Replacing sod as needed.
