The Sierra Canyon Apartments are currently seeking to hire a Dynamic- Full-Time Maintenance Technician for the building's 232-unit apartment building in Santa Clarita CA.

6 Star Management is a privately owned management company specializing in first-class property management! The company is looking for a motivated, relationship-driven and hardworking individual. We hope that they are excited to join a maintenance team dedicated to ensuring the property's value over time. Therefore, we are looking to hire someone who is able to communicate with tenants to make sure that the work is acceptable and meets the tenant's expectations

Summary: The Company's ideal Maintenance Technician is expected perform repairs, unit- turns, and preventive maintenance at the property. Additionally, the ideal Maintenance Technician must maintain good relationships with residents; maintain and enhance the value of the community, and contribute to the economic success of the property.

Responsibilities:

Performance of all maintenance and repairs of the property

Complete all service requests efficiently and courteously.

The Company utilizes an internet-based software called "Appfolio," where the Property Manager will communicate with employees their and deliver work orders. Appfolio is accessible anywhere there is the internet. It is also commonly accessible through an application (app) on a smartphone device.

Inspect property, including roofs and common area regularly.

Ensure that job assignments and service requests are carried out promptly and efficiently following the established procedures.

Maintain the maintenance shop and storage areas in a clean, orderly, safe, and secure fashion.

Ensure all vacant units are made 100% rent ready for the incoming tenant.

Employees will utilize "Appfolio" to report the details of work completed with pictures to the Property Managers.

Purchase supplies as needed within the budget per the established policies and procedures.

Requirements:

A minimum of 1-year experience in multifamily maintenance or construction as a technician- preferred

Full-Time Position

Weekends are required

Must be available for 24 -hour on-call service as assigned

Must possess a set of essential hand tools to use in the performance of duties

Must have a current and valid Driver's License and proof of insurance.

Must have a good history of dependability and job performance

Required Education:

High School Diploma or GED
