We are looking for a marketing intern for the summer! This job will be a balance of content marketing and social media marketing.

Hours: Up to 24/week

Hourly rate: 16.75/hour

Location: La Verne, CA / surrounding area.

Schedule: Monday, Wednesday and limited Friday hours.

Requirements:

• Ability to speak / read / write fluently in English
• Reliable computer / internet access
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions
• Strong time management skills
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Knowledge of social media
• An interest and passion for learning marketing
• An interest and passion for handbags!

Preferred Experience:

• creating social media content (written, picture, an video content)
• some marketing education / background
• writing blog posts
• Graphic creation (Canva) / editing, basic video clip editing
• Experience with the following marketing strategies preferred: email, sms
• Experience with the following platforms encouraged: Instagram, TikTok, Facbook, Pinterest, Canva, Shopify, Klaviyo, PostScript, FloDesk, etc.

Responsibilities include:

• Creating and scheduling social media content
• Creating and scheduling email marketing + text marketing campaigns
• Creating and posting Instagram stories
• Creating video content for social media purposes
• Weekly marketing strategy meetings
• Communicating with team members effectively
• Graphic creation / edits in Canva for specific social media campaigns
• Trimming video content to use for other social media campaigns (repurposing content)
• Occasionally copy writing long form content for blog posts on our website

• Please provide samples or examples of graphics, content marketing, blog posts if available
• Qualified candidates will be contacted for an interview
