Job Description: Summary: Client Operational Services (COS) AML Onboarding function delivers support for Global Markets and Banking business with E2E AML KYC Onboarding process.
Role Description: AML Onboarding function requires a Quality Control Specialist responsible for working on multiple projects and priorities related to Quality Governance program, including Quality testing trend reviews, trend reviews, root cause analysis and remediation plans. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong combination of AML/KYC expertise, strategic thinking, tactical planning and project management skills along with the ability to complete analysis and prioritize multiple projects. The role requires the ability to develop strong partnerships and coordination with business partners in COS and Compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and chair regular quality control routines within the region
- Review Onboarding quality results (In Line QA, Post Process QA, Global Financial Crime testing, Audit testing) in order to identify trends, root causes and required action plans
- Work collaboratively with AML Ops Managers and relevant functions to ensure required action plans are completed
- Work collaboratively with AML Ops Management to ensure required training and coaching needs are addressed
- Monitors and provides analysis on overall program health routinely
- Acts as liaison across AMRS AML Onboarding for quality related matters
- Provide subject matter expertise on initiative/BAU Quality efforts
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of AML/KYC requirements or Economic Sanctions laws and regulations gained within a corporate environment (2-5 years’ experience in AML KYC space)
- Familiarity with cash management products, global markets, trade finance and correspondent banking would be an advantage
- Strong organizational skills
- A flexible, team spirited approach with the ability to work independently
- Ability to work accurately to tight deadlines in a demanding environment
- Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
- Able to apply Critical Thinking
- Analytical and Problem-solving skills
