General Summary:
This position is responsible for patrolling in the city in an effort to deter criminal activity and to maintain order. Respond to calls for service, complete incident reports and attend court.
Physical Demands: The work is typically performed while intermittently sitting, standing, stopping, walking, bending, or crouching. The employee frequently lifts light objects, occasionally lifts heavy objects, uses tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity, and distinguishes between shades of color.
