ECE Substitutes, Inc. is actively recruiting a Full-time, Infant/Toddler Teacher for immediate start.

The Preschool Teacher collaborates with the preschool team and families in educating children with an emphasis on cognition, behavior, social-emotional development, and kindergarten readiness.

Responsibilities

• Follow developmentally appropriate practices
• Maintain confidentiality of children and family information. Provide any current information to the Family Advocate as needed
• Assist in preparing and maintaining the center for licensing requirements
• Develop and implement weekly lesson plans in conjunction with the Teacher Assistant
• Plan for children’s individual interest and needs in conjunction with the Teacher Assistant
• Responsible for observing and making anecdotal notes on all children for their portfolio
• Complete developmental screenings (ASQ) and any other screenings within the first 30-45 days of a child entering the classroom
• Conduct all required parent/teacher conference and home visits
• Attend all required staff meetings, functions and staff development opportunities
• Collaborate professionally and respectfully with other members of your team
• All other job related duties

Qualifications

• Minimum CDA or related degree
• 1 year experience in a early childhood classroom

Physical Requirements:

• Be able to lift up to 55 pounds.
• Frequent bending, walking, squatting, lifting, standing, and/or sitting.
