Freedom Behavioral Health Center of Plainview is seeking a contract (as needed basis based on physician orders) Psychologist to provide psychology services in a 20-Bed Geriatric Behavioral Health inpatient Hospital, located in Plainview, Texas.

Our team consist of clinicians who serve on a multi-disciplinary team that often include licensed clinical social workers and psychiatric providers. We are seeking the opportunity to contract with a Licensed Psychologist to provide Full Time high quality individual psychotherapy, assessment services, and neurocognitive testing (training provided) to short-term inpatient Behavioral Health Geriatric patients in an acute hospital setting. This position involves working in a fast-paced environment with a multi-disciplinary team approach involving patient, Psychiatry and Facility Staff to motivate individuals through their inpatient program, while using testing, assessment, and collaboration to provide input to develop best plan of care and discharge plan.

• Assessment/Evaluation
• Neurocognitive Testing (training provided)
• Psychotherapy

Qualifications:

• Requires licensing in the State of practice as a Masters Prepared Licensed Psychologist (LP)
• Experience working with the geriatric population (preferred)
• Experience collaborating as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience using Electronic Medical Records systems
• Must possess effective communication skills in order to effectively interact with patients, families, and facility staff

Must be able to show proof of Covid vaccination prior to employment with Freedom Behavioral Health.
