Job Summary:
Our healthcare facility in Salida, CO is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse Clinic RN to join our team. The RN will be responsible for providing quality patient care in an outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented and have a proven track record of delivering exceptional care to patients.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Conduct patient assessments and document medical history, symptoms, and current medication use
2. Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
3. Assist with medical procedures and surgeries as needed
4. Educate patients and their families about their medical conditions, treatment options, and preventive care
5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans and provide coordinated care
6. Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as X-rays, EKGs, and lab tests
7. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure confidentiality of patient information
8. Monitor and manage patient symptoms and report any changes to physicians
9. Maintain a clean and organized patient care area
10. Participate in ongoing education and training to keep up-to-date with medical advances and best practices
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Must be a licensed Registered Nurse in the state of Colorado
2. Previous experience in an outpatient clinic or primary care setting preferred
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
4. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
5. Ability to multitask and prioritize patient care needs
6. Computer proficiency and experience with electronic medical records preferred
