Store Operations Associate

Bridging the gap between reality and computer-generated worlds, HypergateVR is at the cutting-edge of the entertainment industry and provides fully immersive virtual-reality experiences to visitors.

We are looking for several highly motivated store operations associates for our newest location in Santa Monica.

Responsibilities:

· Greeting visitors upon arrival and making them feel welcome

· Instructing visitors on how to put on and use the virtual reality gear

· Briefing visitors about the experience and answering questions they may have

· Start/stop and monitor the experiences, intervene as needed if visitors experience issues

· Interacting with tech support team

· Running experiences on schedule

· Selling the experiences to walk-ins

· Processing visitor payments

· Diffusing conflict or tense situations with visitors

· Store opening and closing

· Clean and maintain the exterior and interior areas of the facility, including restroom

· Assist with other functions as instructed by Management

Requirements

· Excellent guest service focused skills and an understanding of sales principles and customer service practices

· Exceptional communication skills

· Proficient in verbal and written English language, Spanish desired but not required.

· Telephone etiquette

· Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative independent of direct supervision

· High school diploma or GED

· Good time management and organizational skills

· Conflict resolution experience

· Patience and good listening skills

· Enthusiastic, friendly and energetic with a genuine desire to provide outstanding service

· Ability to pass background check and drug testing

· Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as business needs require

· Sanitizing, disinfecting, or cleaning procedures in place

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Shift:

• 8 hour shift

Weekly day range:

• Weekend availability

Work Location: In person
