Job Description

The Senior Associate, Owned Content & Experiences for the Consumer Bank Marketing Engagement & Communication team is responsible for developing, executing, and managing owned content experiences and programs to deliver key retail marketing initiatives that support our banking leadership pillars of advice, security, and convenience, with heavy emphasis on digital. These campaigns are designed to increase retention, financial health, and digital adoption across the Consumer Bank, all while delighting our customers throughout their journey.

Job Responsibilities:

Serving as a marketing partner and campaign manager managing best-in-class consumer experiences, the role includes the following responsibilities:
  • End-to-end program management that elevates traditional engagement touch points and tactics to deliver measurable performance
  • Creative direction and channel execution, with a strong focus on controls
  • Strong collaboration between the Engagement team, strategy partners, and internal/external execution partners
  • E2E campaign execution, including:
    • Leading internal and external agency briefing and creative development
    • Managing campaigns (digital and print, awareness and offer-based) and ensuring initiatives are on-strategy, on time and within budget parameters
    • Optimizing direct response marketing campaigns to improve results, create efficiencies and reduce costs
    • Collaborating with marketing managers to identify opportunities, content and UX strategy and the framework for measurement and reporting
    • Ensuring strong focus on end-to-end exceptional customer experience delivery, while also overseeing all the details of the experience are flawlessly executed
    • Managing multi-channel execution (from concept development to delivery) including working across multi-functional teams, such as:
      • Product and Marketing Strategy team
      • Agencies for creative development and execution
      • Brand team to ensure voice and visual consistency across the firm
      • Modeling team, list team and list brokers to influence and coordinate targeting
      • Analytics team to report campaign results and campaign optimization recommendations
      • Legal and Compliance for approval of all marketing content
    • Pull campaign reporting, analyze performance and make creative or strategic optimization recommendations

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
  • Proven track record in digital marketing and/or content/UX strategies and development - 3-5 years of experience is required
  • Digital consumer marketing experience in owned, earned, and paid channels - strong executional knowledge of social, paid display, email, and website creative required
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, with strong skills in multi-tasking and prioritization
  • Ability to construct, communicate, evolve, and adhere to (along with ensuring adherence of other partners) project timelines
  • Knowledge of database marketing principles, segmentation, testing and results measurement
  • Ability to think strategically and recommend process/creative enhancements and solutions
  • Willingness to \"roll up your sleeves\" and manage the details of marketing project execution while maintaining adaptability and flexibility to work on varying types of projects
  • High energy, solutions-oriented individual with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, working well under pressure with tight deadlines
  • Strong communication, relationship development and negotiating skills; able to earn respect and trust among internal and external business partners and team members
  • Team player with a positive, can-do attitude; must be comfortable with continuously changing opportunities and priorities
  • Creativity and innovation with a focus on constant improvement
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Specific experience in financial services, including debit or credit marketing and/or agency-side experience is a plus
  • Copywriting/editing experience
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
  • 3+ years of agency/vendor management experience
  • 4-year college degree preferred
