Software Quality Assurance Analyst


Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to join our team. The QA Analyst will be responsible for planning, designing, and executing tests to ensure the quality of our products and services meet the requirements and standards set by the organization.


Essential Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze system specifications.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers and other stakeholders to develop effective strategies and test plans.
  • Identify, document and track defects, bugs and issues found during testing.
  • Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results.
  • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
  • Participate in product and process improvement initiatives.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of testing processes and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Keep abreast of industry best practices for software testing and quality assurance.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Quality Assurance role.
  • Strong understanding of software development and testing methodologies.
  • Experience with automated testing tools and techniques
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus
