Coordinate and monitoring the development and implementation of the tools used in the different cluster sites, as well as the management of development and research projects at the cluster level, attending technical meetings with customers.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Technical responsible for TAM in US / Support to the customers in technical meetings.
• Cluster responsible for Engineering Tools / Supporting the implementation of the new engineering tools for each factory.
• Cluster responsible for R&D projects / Coordinate and implement the R&D projects for the cluster.
• Identify measures of productivity during the transformer process for TAM.
• Support the software developers to incorporate existing technology into electrical and mechanical tools for transformer design
• Develop optimized solutions and standardization to reduce design lead time
• Support engineering in the elaboration of rules and procedures for design execution
• Support engineering on technical topics for specific designs
• Support the cluster with local customer facing meeting to Co-Develop solutions and address technical roadblocks.
• Support the cluster in the standardization of specifications / designs to optimize the design cycle time.

What You Bring

• Bachelor´s Degree in Electrical or mechanical engineering.
• 10 years of experience in Electrical Transformers. (Design & Tests)
• Experience in electrical & mechanical engineering specifically in electrical transformers, electrical subestations.
• Experience to coordinate different sites, promoting teamwork.
• Optimization projects in savings productive measures mainly.
• Ability to integrate and apply technologies and technical solutions to meet customer requirements and increase operating and financial results.
• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
