The Kind of Work You’ll be Doing:

• Provides leadership to the staff on the audit team.
• Perform assigned audits.
• Prepare an annual risk assessment in conjunction with the team so that the audit schedule focuses on the greatest risk to Cru.
• Confirm compliance with internal policies and procedures and external laws and regulations.
• Ascertain whether the results of the ministries audited are consistent with established objectives and goals by reviewing operations and programs.
• Evaluate the completeness, reliability, and integrity of financial and operational information obtained during the audit.
• Work with Cru’s key ministry leaders to discuss issues identified and propose corrective actions.
• Partner with departments across the entire organization to identify areas of risk, make valuable recommendations, and influence positive change.

Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) in Accounting from a four-year college or university and a minimum of 10 years’ professional accounting. Three years of supervisory experience.
