At Freddie Mac, you will do important work to build a better housing finance system and you’ll be part of a team helping to make homeownership and rental housing more accessible and affordable across the nation.

Employees, contingent workers and visitors are no longer required to show proof of vaccination to be on-site. Effective January 2023, Freddie Mac’s hybrid work arrangement is 3 days in the office (specifically Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday).

Position Overview:

The Sr. Mgr. Project Manager role will be a team member within MF BTO Product Delivery supporting any Freddie Mac’s Multifamily Division.

Build/promote value for clients and Freddie Mac through the execution and delivery of improvements and new products or services across divisions ecosystem. Also, accountable for go-to-market functions to support the rollout of change for applicable product roadmaps. We engage business areas across the company including Business Sponsors, Modern Delivery product teams and Enterprise Operations & Technology to identify and resolve impacts related to offerings to ensure successful rollout and adoption internally with business partners and externally with our customers.

Your Impact:

  • Product Management/Development - Analyze, craft and develop product offerings, including building the business case for selected solutions. Support client facing teams to evaluate current products and offerings and identify market requirements for new or revised products and offerings.
  • Project Management - Responsible for key project activities (scope, schedule, budget) for various projects. Plan the cross-functional rollout plan and launch of new offerings including facilitation and coordination with business partners to implement any “Go-To-Market” functions.
  • Business Analysis - Work on issues where analysis of situations, data or documentation requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational and project objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field, OR equivalent experience.
  • 5 to 7 years of product / project management experience
  • Effectively manage projects using standard project management tools, including business case development, project plans, budget management, issues and risks management and status reporting
  • Strong verbal and written skills, including the ability to facilitate effective meetings and to develop and deliver presentations/materials to various levels of audiences
  • Strong quantitative and analytic skills
  • Ability to work independently while driving and managing assignments from concept through deployment/launch
  • Ability to partner with communications, sales and other teams to ensure accurate messaging and rollout of offerings to both internal and external constituencies
  • Experience in the mortgage services industry is strongly preferred with an emphasis on the primary/secondary mortgage market including Underwriting, Loan Delivery, Pricing, Securitization, Regulatory, and/or Credit Risk
  • Experience using various project and product development methodologies is strongly preferred: Waterfall, AGILE, Scaled Agile Framework for Enterprises (SAFe); certifications such as PMP, CSM or SAFe PO/PM are helpful.
