REPORT TO: Director Sourcing Compliance & Operations
SOURCING COMPLIANCE & OPERATIONS is part of Disney Parks Experiences and Products and functions within the Global Product organization. The Global Product organization is focused on merchandise strategy, product design/innovation, merchandise sourcing, and supplier compliance. Sourcing Compliance & Operations (SCO) manages the supplier lifecycle ensuring ethical sourcing and brand protection across merchandise categories and oversees the onboarding, exiting, licensing and compliance of suppliers. The team works towards continuously improving supplier relationships and cultivating global and cross-functional partnerships.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Supply Chain Visibility (SCV) Analyst is responsible for assisting with the management of the Global Product vertical supply chain and driving supply chain mapping efforts. The SCV Analyst will partner with cross functional teams both within the Company and across multiple third parties, including Legal, Sourcing, Trade Management, and ILS to develop processes to manage and mitigate supply chain risks and ensure optimal traceability of products. The SCV Analyst will also assist in supporting the International Labor Standards (ILS) Program by processing Facility and Merchandise Authorization (FAMA) applications, ILS audit submissions, and maintaining accurate information in multiple databases.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist with development of supply chain mapping processes to support product traceability and risk mitigation for Global Product organization
Support internal prioritization and sequencing discussions related to product traceability, including which suppliers and materials will be addressed with which priority
Development of material-specific product traceability strategies, including which data, which partners, and which tools to gather more upstream information
Partner with supply chain leadership and other teams to monitor, track, and report against supply chain risk and product traceability metrics and develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans
Assist with day-to-day ILS Program requirements including timely processing of FAMA applications and ILS audit submissions
Maintain accurate supplier, facility, and relationship information in multiple databases.
Manage/assist with a variety of concurrent projects and tasks as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong business, quantitative and analytical problem-solving skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills to convey complex information in a simple, easily understood to diverse groups of partners
Proven ability to interact with all levels, partnering, facilitating, and influencing
Ability to standardize and streamline workflows and processes with existing and new tools
Ability to network, influence, and utilize internal and external resources
Knowledge of both upstream material value chains and fulfillment operations, including what happens at each tier of manufacturing
Proven understanding of, or experience with sustainable manufacturing operations
Ability to work and deliver in changing environments, under limited guidance while adhering to specified deadlines
Excellent attention to detail, organization and time management skills
Ability to handle overlapping projects, keep track of deadlines, efficient use of time, and work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
Ability and desire to be flexible, adapt to change and grow with the organization
Ability to pull and assimilate data from multiple system
Advanced skills in Excel, database management and TEAMS
Moderate skills in Office 365 suite of tools, Smartsheet, Power Apps, DocuSign
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s Degree or 3+ years of experience in supply chain compliance
