This position is a hybrid System Administrator with networking skills. The candidate will provide senior-level technical expertise, analysis, and support to the our Space Programs. This position requires strong system engineering, administration, analytical and problem-solving skills in a closed environment.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Primary POC for initial stand up and maintenance of all program IT related items.
- Works directly with the program to define business requirements, design and develop software/hardware/infrastructure and implement the solutions
- Maintain security compliance for all IT assets across Linux, Windows and Network domains.
Basic Qualifications:
- Must have an active TS/SCI clearance with a CI Poly
- Must possess Security+ certification or better
- Experience using and administrating Microsoft Windows Servers Red Had Enterprise Linux
- Experience with vulnerability remediation and security management (i.e., system hardening, log management, configuration management (i.e., Nessus, McAfee, WSUS, SCCM, Ivanti, Shavlik, Blade Logic, Splunk, ACAS, SCAP, HBSS, etc.))
- Knowledge of switching and routing protocols like spanning-tree, OSPF, and BGP
Desired Skills:
- Experience using VMWare or Hyper-V tools for virtualization
- Knowledge of restoration/storage services (i.e., NetApp/EMC hardware, software, tape management, disaster recovery practices)
- Knowledge of Scripting and Automation (i.e., Ansible, Perl, Bash, PowerShell, Shell Scripting, etc.)
- Knowledge of Contractor Off the Shelf (COTS) software installations and support
- Knowledge of patching, Firmware, and IOS upgrades
- Knowledge of SAN environments with multiple OS's (Linux, Unix, and Windows)
- Knowledge of Linux authentication with Active Directory
- Knowledge of OpenStack, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud
- Knowledge of restoration/storage services (i.e., NetApp/EMC hardware, software, tape management, disaster recovery practices)
- Knowledge of container creation and management (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, etc.)
- Knowledge of Network Access Control (NAC) for 802.1X with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE).
- Knowledge of DNS-DHCP-IPAM (DDI) with Infoblox and Active Directory
- Experience with network management platforms like SolarWinds
- IT related certifications (i.e., MCSE, VMWare, RHCE, CISSP, etc.)
- Ability to lift 30 lbs

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: Standard Monday to Friday 40 hour work week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in Colorado or Washington is $100,400 - $192,500. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO); receive 40 hours of Granted PTO annually for incidental absences; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
