Transcription Project Coordinator - Puerto Rico

The Language Doctors, Inc. has an opening for a Puerto Rico-based Transcription Project Coordinator in our San Juan, PR office. The ideal candidate should have experience working experience in the Translation & Localization Industry to join our growing team. The suitable candidate will be a detail-oriented, self-motivated, highly organized person who can multitask.

Key Responsibilities:

• Determine clients’ needs in order to provide outstanding services.
• Create and submit timely and accurate quotes to clients.
• Create Purchase orders for the Vendors.
• Coordinate the team of transcriptionists.
• Organize and verifying project files for final delivery to our clients.
• Ensure projects are completed and delivered to clients within the timeline and with ultimate attention to quality.

Knowledge, skills, and experience required:

• Making phone calls and communicating with the stakeholders regarding project needs and goals
• Native or bilingual English level.
• Experience with translation project management tools, for example, Plunet or similar is preferred.
• Be familiar with the latest technology related to subtitling and captioning.
• Managing records to ensure smooth capturing of documents by seniors, team members & other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Proven multitasking skills, and ability to work under short deadlines.
• Fast learner and the ability to pick up new skills and technologies.
• Common sense with exceptional problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Extraordinary time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and client service skills.
• Excellent eye for detail.
• Strong formatting skills.
