JOB SCOPE:
The Associate Property Management is responsible for providing excellent customer service to our external clients, along with assisting the internal Real Estate team with day-to-day inquiries and requests.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Associate Property Management assists the Dir, Property Management in overseeing our assets, as well as performing property administrator job duties. The Associate Property Management ensures a high level of professionalism and fosters
positive relationships with other departments, landlords and tenants.

Director, Real Estate

Responsibilities/Skills/Experience Requirements

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Maintains an awareness of the status of all assets
  • Works with our Facilities department, identifies and addresses issues and problems related to life safety, liability, and potential negligence situations that could impact Owner, its contractors, tenants and/or customers
  • Assists leadership in the preparation of annual budgets by investigating managed property's prior year expenses and recommends spending in current and future budgets
  • Works with Accounting, Leasing, Tax and various other departments in effectively resolving tenant issues
  • Oversees the preparation of various financial reports, including but not limited to accounts payable, monthly budget variance analysis, rent roll review and preparation of annual operating and capital budgets
  • Creates, manages, and maintains a work order system for property repairs used by the facilities team to address property maintenance issues
  • Actively participates in client meetings/site visits with the facilities team
  • Runs monthly reporting of open accounts and manages defaults
  • Responds to information request and promptly resolves any day-to-day service or business-related issues
  • Assumes additional responsibilities and performs special projects as needed or directed
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelors Degree
  • 1-2 years of related experience
  • Up to 25% travel
  • 18 years of age or older

REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • 1-2 years of commercial real estate experience, at least partly gained as a landlord representative
  • Experience in financial management and budgeting, ideally at least partly gained in the corporate or professional services sectors
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills; can effectively influence stakeholders while building relationships with key contacts and internal networks
  • Proven ability to navigate a complex organization matrix, establish trusting relationships and influence without formal authority
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities, multiple competing demands, ambiguity, and frequent change
  • Yardi (or other accounting software), Microsoft Office, CRM System (preferred)
