Job Title: Copywriter, Democracy Clothing

Position Overview: As the team Copywriter you will be responsible for creating high-quality product descriptions for DemocracyClothing.com, email marketing copy, and overall brand copy that engages our target audience, supports our brand voice, and translates into sales.. This role requires excellent writing skills, a knowledge of fashion industry lingo (language) and an ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities:

· Develop clear and compelling product descriptions that highlight features and benefits, while aligning with our brand voice and tone.

· Write engaging marketing copy for various channels, including emails, paid advertising, blogs, social media, and more.

· Create messaging that resonates with our target audience and supports our overall brand strategy.

· Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to develop and creative concepts that support marketing campaigns and promotions.

· Edit and proofread copy for accuracy and consistency.

· Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices for copywriting, brand strategy, and SEO.

Qualifications/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in product, marketing, and brand copywriting. Fashion or Accessory industry experience required.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• SEO experience and knowledge required.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and product teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Creative thinker with a strong attention to detail.
• Examples of portfolio work, containing short and long-form content including content written for the web, blogs, social media, and catalogs.
• Positive, collaborative, hands-on and energetic attitude
• Schedule of this position: Monday – Friday | Core business hours | Hybrid role with regular onsite presence required; will vary based on business needs.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
