Copywriter

We are seeking a talented learning and development copywriter to join our team at Love Project Films. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in writing and creating engaging copy for the consumer electronics industry industry. This person will be responsible for developing compelling content across a variety of platforms, including websites, 1-page product info sheets, web newsletters, and Google Slides.

Responsibilities:

• Write and edit clear, concise, and compelling copy that effectively communicates the benefits of technology products and services to a diverse range of audiences.
• Experienced in Marketing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and marketing managers, to ensure that copy is consistent with overall branding and messaging.
• Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the tech industry to ensure that all content is accurate and relevant.
• Review copy materials against client brand guidelines for voice and tone
• Write copy for training materials, such as instructional articles, videos, and infosheets sequences, to help users understand tech products.
• Ensure all content is optimized for search engines and meets best practices for web writing and accessibility.

Requirements:

• A portfolio of work showcasing your writing skills, particularly within the consumer electronics industry.
• 3+ years of experience as a copywriter, with a strong focus on writing for consumer electronics L&D materials.
• Excellent writing, editing, spelling, grammar, and proofreading skills.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, engaging language for a variety of learning formats.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and to adhere to tight deadlines.
• A deep understanding of the tech industry and a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest trends and developments.

Hard Skills:

• Knowledge of copy content creation and optimization.
• Familiarity with project management tools, such as Asana or Airtable, to manage workflow and deadlines.
• Familiarity with graphic design and multimedia tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite.
• Knowledge of Google Suite programs, particularly Docs and Slides.
• Multilingual applicants, particularly Japanese speakers, are a bonus but not mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $54,000.00 - $64,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Los Angeles, CA 90025
