A day in the Life:
As a copywriter, you’ll be responsible for a wide variety of writing projects, including product descriptions, brand messaging, ad copy, dermatology studies, blog content, and more.
- Create and deliver fresh, relevant copy for both online and traditional marketing campaigns.
- Conduct keyword research to write intelligent optimized copy for SEO according to LovelySkin brand standards.
- Conceive, write, edit, proofread, and revise content for digital and print projects.
- Utilize manufacturer recommended content and research industry-related topics and products to provide clear and pithy product descriptions.
- Research and understand trends within skin care, hair care, and cosmetics to attract new traffic and create stronger, more engaging content.
- Collaborate with the Company Leadership, Director of Marketing, Director of E-Commerce, and other departments to better understand the company needs and our target market.
- Research, write, publish, and maintain blog content.
- Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend solutions.
Compensation: $45,000-60,000 (Dependent on Experience) Bonus Eligible
Location: On-Site Omaha (Not eligible for remote work)
Status: Full-time, Non-Exempt
Schedule: Hybrid work schedule
About You:
- 2+ years of formal writing experience required, experience writing in a marketing environment highly preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Creative Writing, English, Journalism or a related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including grammar, spelling and punctuation
- SEO writing experience highly desired.
- Strong attention to detail and able to meet tight deadlines.
- Able to comfortably work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Must be a hands-on person with the ability to quickly learn new systems and technologies.
