Formosa Plastics Corporation, Texas, located in Point Comfort, Texas (jobsite), is looking for a full-time Engineer with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering and 2 years related work experience. Job duties include designing, testing, installing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning the distributed control system, using FProcess to modify the software of the distributed control system to control and optimize the process of the plant, performing simulated testing of the distributed control system, retrofitting the distributed control system, developing software to integrate the distributed control system with package equipment and the conveying system, designing, testing, and implementing direct IO interface assignment, designing, testing, and implementing control logic, and developing and implementing human machine interface program for system control.
