Job Summary:

Recreation Host and Hostesses work with our Guests renting boats, bikes and other recreation equipment. Recreation Cast will handle cash and other forms of payments for equipment, will have all Guests fill out waivers and verify waivers are correct, and file waivers properly. Recreation Cast will also work at various points of entry to resort pools, welcoming resort Guests to use all amenities at the resort.

The starting pay rate for the Recreation H/H role is $15.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

  • Enforce polices, rules and regulations of the recreation location
  • Comfortable around water – including pools & lakes
  • Gate Greeter – Greet & welcoming resort Guests to use all the amenities at the resort
    • Assist cleaning of pool area including handling dirty towels
    • Respond to Guest questions/concerns
  • Marina – Greet & welcome Guests while assisting with the following duties:
    • Guests filling out waivers, checking accuracy and proper storage of waivers along with cash handling
    • Guests with lifejackets & other safety equipment
    • Load/unload Guests in motorized & non-motorized boats
    • Guests renting bicycles and other recreation equipment
    • Fuel boats and other recreational vehicles
    • Maintain & clean/sanitize recreation equipment

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have Valid Driver’s License
  • Strong verbal communication skills (able to positively engage with Guests, Cast Members, and leadership)
  • Speak in front of groups of various sizes
  • Work in an outdoor setting in various weather conditions
  • Comfortable driving company vehicles
  • Physical role requiring heavy lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, and kneeling
  • Additional Personal Protective Equipment (face shields, googles, refillable hand sanitizers, etc.) may be required.
  • Part-time requires full availability for any shift, a MINIMUM of (3) THREE days per week, including nights and holidays
  • Full-Time roles require FULL AVAILABILITY for any shift, seven (7) days per week, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Computer proficiency within a Windows environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous Recreation Experience
  • Previous Experience with Boats – Tying Boat knots & Cleating
  • Bilingual preferred

Additional Information:

SCHEDULE AVAILABILTY Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and some shifts may start as early as 5:00am while some may end as late as 3:00am, 4:00am or 5:00am. Please note that the principles of seniority are used to schedule all roles.
