Job Description

Statement of Duties:

The seasonal part-time, non-union Laborer is responsible for performing all duties related to the maintenance and upkeep of Town properties including, but not limited to general groundskeeping (mowing, tree work, landscaping, trash removal, etc.), as well as operating manual and power tools. The omission of specific statements of duties does not exclude them from the position if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment to the position.

Hours of Work/Operations:

This position is a 19-24 hour/week position; flexibility in work hours and work days is required and may be weather-dependent. Scheduled hours will be from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday - Friday. This position continues from May – August.

Job Environment:

Work is generally performed outdoors and is subject to unpredictable weather conditions.

Recommended Minimum Qualifications:

· High School diploma or GED

· Related experience preferred.

· Drivers License Class D preferred

Physical and Mental Requirements:

· Must be able to Lift/Carry/Push 50 lbs.

· Work requires walking/standing/bending/balancing/reaching/climbing

· Able to follow written and oral instructions.

· The worker is subject to outside environmental conditions.
