Sr. Network Engineer

100% Fully Remote

The Sr. Network Engineer is responsible for providing design, administration, and support of Local and Wide Area Networks and related equipment used to support business operations. The Sr. Network Engineer reports to the Infrastructure Manager and works closely with IT staff, management, and end users. The successful person brings a can-do attitude and positive energy every day and is prepared to communicate with all levels of employees.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Extensive TCP/IP and subnetting experience
• Cisco enterprise switching and routing, including BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, and other

LAN/WAN technologies

• Cisco Wireless Lan Controllers configuration and administration
• ISE, NAC, TACACS, and Radius Configuration and administration
• Experience with Cisco Meraki
• Experience with Cisco Firepower Thread Defense FTD
• Virtualization experience
• Cisco UCS configuration and administration
• FCoE with Nexus switches to SANs and UCS
• Qos, rate limiting, and WAN acceleration configuration and administration
• SDWAN configuration and administration
• NSX-T Experience
• EIGRP

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Five (5) years of experience in the information network field.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering or related field.
• Thorough understanding of VMware installation and management, including

host/guest recovery and backups

• Experience configuring and supporting routers, switches, wireless, and other

networking hardware.

• Experience with SANs - NetApp and Nimble/HPE experience preferred
• Backup and restore experience including tape libraries- Commvault experience

preferred

• Experience managing AWS storage environment
• Experience with routing protocols (BGP and OSPF), DNS, DHCP, IP Network Architecture.
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA). PREFERRED SKILLS:
• Cisco UCS configuration and administration
• FCoE with Nexus switches to SANs and UCS
• Qos, rate limiting, and WAN acceleration configuration and administration
• SDWAN configuration and administration

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Experience:

• Networking: 4 years (Preferred)
• Cisco: 4 years (Preferred)
