Job Description

An international company in the Houston, TX area is currently seeking a Japanese/English Bilingual Office Assistant. Entry-level applicants are welcome to apply. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity then it will potentially switch to a Full-Time direct-hire position with an excellent benefits package.

Responsibilities of Entry-Level Japanese/English Bilingual Office Assistant:

  • Provide administrative support to supervisors in the office.
  • Plan and coordinate shipping schedules for the company's clients..
  • Issue invoices to customers and suppliers.
  • Use Microsoft Office Suite and manage/update product and client information.
  • Maintain office supply and do inventory control.
  • Other duties as assigned by managers

Requirements of Entry-Level Japanese/English Bilingual Office Assistant:

  • Japanese fluent speaker is required.
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Must have Windows-based PC and Microsoft Office Suite skills.
  • Previous office-type work experience is a big plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
  • Must be flexible and be able to work in a multi-cultural environment.
